Book trailers: 'Phantom Shadows,' 'Escalation Clause'

Hello, friends!

Hurricane Sandy gave me a little kick in the pants last week (nothing like you poor folks in NY and NJ), but enough to get me off the blogging schedule. But I'm back this week with power and my very first award nomination as a published author! I was gobsmacked to see my first book, A Night of Southern Comfort, on the list for the 2012 RT Book Reviews Reviewer's Choice Awards for contemporary romance from an indie publisher/self-pub. It's almost as good as the candy I've been stealing from my kid's Halloween stash! Almost.

This week I kick off my book-trailer finds with this cool little one from Dianne Duvall to showcase her book, Phantom Shadows: Night Reigns (Immortal Guardians #3). An awesome alpha hero and a fight scene with a no-music, all-action soundtrack really grabbed me.

I love the videos created by Opal Campbell for Liz Crowe's books, and this one is no exception. The trailer for Escalation Clause opens with a great soundtrack, and the images and script weave you through the struggles of three couples to regain love that has been lost. Great job!
