Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's breakup and reported makeup lead the duo to the top of USA TODAY's Celebrity Heat Index, which measures media exposure.Here's a look at the most popular celebrities for October.
1. Kristen Stewart (428 points). Just in time for the worldwide promotional tour of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the tabloids have Stewart and Pattinson back together.
2. Robert Pattinson (331). See No. 1
3. Kim Kardashian (298). Between tweets of herself in a cat costume and a photo shoot that has her in a bridal gown, the tabloids continue to speculate about her relationship with Kanye West.
4. Emily Maynard (258). ABC's Bachelorette star confirms she and her fiancé, Jef Holm, have split. Seriously, who didn't see that coming?
5. Jennifer Aniston (250). Her engagement keeps tabloids predicting details about her wedding as the first photos of the actress's ring surface.
6. Jessica Biel (237) and Justin Timberlake (237). It's a tie made in Heat Index Heaven. The couple make it official as they marry in southern Italy on Oct. 19.
