Book buzz: O'Reilly talks JFK, Lena Dunham pitches advice book

Killing Kennedy: After his 2011 best-selling book Killing Lincoln, Bill O'Reilly is back with another presidential history-thriller about the assassination of JFK. Read Bob Minzesheimer's interview and watch O'Reilly talk about his book in a video.

New reviews: Minzesheimer reviews one of fall's big books, Live By Night by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River,Shutter Island), and Susan Wloszczyna reviews The New Yorker critic David Denby's newest, Do The Movies Have a Future?

The Shakesperience: Fans of the Bard can access their favorite plays in an immersive iPad experience, Greg Toppo reports.

Lena Dunham: Salon reports that the writer, director and star of Girls is shopping a book of advice, tentatively titled Not That Kind of Girl: Advice by Lena Dunham. It will include candid anecdotes from Dunham about losing her virginity, obsessing about death and more.

Literary geniuses: Junot Diaz is one of the authors to win the MacArthur Foundation "genius" grant of $500,000. Check out a Q & A with Diaz and read a review of his new story collection, This Is How You Lose Her.

Thurber prize: Calvin Trillin, author of Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin: Forty Years of Funny Stuff, has won this year's Thurber Prize for American Humor.
