Sip from Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel's late night 'Lemonade' stand-up

On Monday night, late night hosts couldn't help but talk about what we've had on our minds since its debut Saturday night, Beyoncé's powerful visual album, Lemonade. Could it be about Jay Z? Who is "Becky with the good hair?" Two talk show hosts tried to help us find answers by mansplaining and using emojis. Shout-out to Jimmy Kimmel for speaking our language.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

If we were running the swear jar, Colbert would've had to put a dollar in, so this clip might be NSFW.

"Beyoncé is so mad, I feel like I cheated on her," The Late Show host said as his voice grew frail. "In that I have listened to other people's music."

Then, he commended Queen Bey for keeping her project on the hush hush. "How do you keep something this big a secret? I think Beyoncé should be running the CIA."

Colbert was also surprised by the content of Bey's project. "The only hint we had that she was gonna viciously attack Jay Z was when she and her sister released that teaser trailer a couple years ago," he said in reference to Jay Z and Solange Knowles' fight on an elevator before breaking into a white-mansplanation of Lemonade.

To make things less complicated Kimmel turned to the emojis. He gave a thorough explanation of the Lemonade aftermath, including the Beyhive's beef with Rachel Ray after confusing her with Rachel Roy, who some believed to be "Becky with the good hair."

"Regular people do their oversharing on Facebook, Beyoncé does it on HBO," Kimmel joked.

Maybe that's true, but somehow when Bey does it sparks an iTunes purchase instead of an eye roll.
