Jon Stewart calls on O.J. Simpson, JonBenet Ramsey to save the election

"What, wha?"

We've missed you, Jon.

It's been quite a month — or year — for Jon Stewart to be off the air. But the former Daily Show host appeared at the annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit for the New York Comedy Festival, alongside fellow stars Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Louis C.K. and Jim Gaffigan.

And while the benefit's other A-list attendees stayed away from politics, Stewart dove in, making up for lost time with a stinging routine that shows he, like many other Americans, is baffled by the presidential race.

"There's only one way this election can end, one way — it's a tie," he joked, painting a picture of Election Day drama and roping in a few more of 2016's most buzzworthy figures.

"There's only one vote to be cast, and they cut away to a white Bronco, driving down the freeway. It's O.J.! O.J.'s out! And holy (expletive), he's a felon, he'll never be able to vote."

"Who's in the car? It's JonBenet Ramsey, I can't believe it!" he continues. "She's alive! And she gets out, and says, 'Grab them in the (expletive), that was enough for me, I had to get up and vote.'"

Yes, in Stewart's twisted visions, Donald Trump was so offensive he brought JonBenet Ramsey back to life.
