Call it a mini-"Today" reunion.
Megyn Kelly posed with Kathie Lee Gifford on the red carpet of the children's' advocacy organization Childhelp's Drive the Dream Gala in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Saturday.
Kelly and Gifford were colleagues on "Today" before NBC canceled Kelly's 9 a.m. hour on Oct. 26 after she made controversial comments about blackface on her show.
During a round-table discussion on the segment, Kelly defended "blackface" for Halloween, saying it was "OK when I was a kid as long as you were dressing like a character." She also backed "Real Housewives of New York" star Luann de Lesseps, who was accused of darkening her skin while dressing up as Diana Ross.
Kelly formally parted ways with NBC News on Jan. 11, with CNN reporting that NBC paid Kelly the remaining sum of money in her contract, believed to total about $30 million.
Gifford is also exiting NBC in the coming months, with the longtime host, 65, revealing that her last day co-hosting the show's fourth hour with Hoda Kotb will be April 7.
