JLo and A. Rod and... J. Gaines?

Jennifer Lopez revealed that boyfriend Alex Rodriguez surprised her with the sweetest two-year anniversary gift: a FaceTime session with "Fixer Upper" star Joanna Gaines.

Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres about how the surprise went down.

"This was really sweet," she said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Wednesday. "So I'm obsessed with 'Fixer Upper,' you guys know Joanna Gaines? My sister got me her new book. I'm like obsessed with her. I'm like in bed every night looking at it like 'Oh my God, this is so amazing.' "

Lopez continued: "We actually got a little fixer upper next to the water and we're like 'we have to fix this up.' "

Just like any other "Fixer Upper" fan, Lopez said she wished that Gaines would be able to help her tackle their house project.

"It's really a house that needs work," she said. "I was like 'Wouldn't it be amazing to have her do it for us?' But she doesn't do anything outside of Waco [Texas]. I didn't even know honestly that Alex listens to me half the time when I'm talking."

Turns out, Rodriguez was listening.

"Come our anniversary, he's like ... I want you to do a meeting," she said. "He loves to do meetings, and I hate meetings. ... And he goes: 'I want you to do this meeting with us for this architect for the house.' "

The architect wasn't quite who Lopez thought it would be.

"He opens up the FaceTime, and it's Joanna Gaines. And I was like 'Ah! Are you kidding? Hi!' I totally fangirled out," Lopez said. "And she was like 'Hi,' just like she is on the show, so cool with her long hair. And like 'Oh my God, are you kidding me right now?' And I'm looking at him like, 'You listened to me. Like I love you.' It really blew me away. That to me is more romantic than anything."

Thankfully, Gaines said that she would help out if she could on Lopez and Rodriguez's new property.

"She was like 'I don't do things, but I will help you with this and that.' And I was like, 'Yes just help me, just a little bit! You don't even have to come out here, I know you have the baby. How's the baby?' "

Gaines shares five children with husband and business partner Chip. At 7 months, Crew is their youngest. His older siblings are: Emmie Kay, 8½, Duke, 9½, Ella Rose, 12, and Drake, 14.

The couple are advocates of quality family time. Not having enough of it was among the reasons they ended their hit HGTV show "Fixer Upper," which had its final episode in April 2018.
