Anna Camp talks getting naked onstage vs. onscreen

Anna Camp plays the feisty Debbie Spangler in ‘Goodbye to All That.’

In Goodbye to All That, True Blood star Anna Camp plays Debbie Spangler, a religious woman who gets freaky with the film's recently-single protagonist, Otto (Paul Schneider). Camp got naked for the part.

It was "not the most comfortable thing in the world," she told USA TODAY.

However, Camp has some experience with stripping down in character. She also took off her clothes in the play Equus with Daniel Radcliffe. We had to ask her: Which was scarier, nude scenes for the screen or the stage?

"I felt much more comfortable doing nudity onstage, to be honest, in front of over thousands of people, because you're in the dark," she said. "On set, you're in a small room, they have to shut the air conditioning off, because of the sounds. You got a couple guys standing there with cameras and boom mics. Just the proximity of it is so close."

Camp said she's OK with her family seeing her nude scenes in Goodbye to All That, as long as she's not in the room during the screening.

Here's a clip of Camp as a fully-clothed Debbie in the IFC film:

Goodbye to All That is now available on VOD.
