Soundgarden fans excited by the recent release of King Animal, the reunited band's first album in 16 years, now have something else to look forward to: a new radio concert.

Sirius XM's Town Hall with Soundgarden, taped Wednesday at New York's Electric Ladyland Studios, is set to air Friday at 6 PM ET on SiriusXM's Pearl Jam Radio, channel 22. The broadcast will include songs from Animal, plus a Q&A session in which a few lucky Sirius listeners will get to pose questions to the group. Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins will moderate.

Sirius's Town Hall series has previously featured such icons as Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Roger Waters, Coldplay and Taylor Swift. The Soundgarden edition will be available after the initial broadcast at SiriusXM On Demand (siriusxm.com/ondemand).
