Middleton keeps Olympic celebration going

The Olympic Games ended weeks ago, but the celebration of the athletes and all their hard work continues.

Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge, did her royal duty Tuesday, welcoming those athletes to Buckingham Palace for a special celebration in their honor.

Middleton, whose every style choice is documented 'round the world, opted for a feminine Alice Temperley frock with sheer accents, floral appliques and bell sleeves.

It appeared that the young royal handled the appearance solo, as her husband Prince William skipped the event.
