  • Bieber, who released third album this summer, received zero nominations.
  • Braun's other client, Carly Rae Jepsen, did get recognized though.

Music lovers may have noticed that one of the most ubiquitous artists of the year was missing entirely from the just-announced list of Grammy nominations: Justin Bieber.

Yes, it's true. The Canadian pop sensation was completely shut out of this year's crop of nominees.

Unsurprisingly, Scooter Braun, 31, who manages The Biebz, is not happy about the snub and went to Twitter to vent.

"I just plain DISAGREE," Braun tweeted. "The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one."

Bieber, 18, released his third album, Believe, this summer, which spawned two major hits, Boyfriend and As Long as You Love Me. Braun added that the fact that Bieber was able to deliver another successful project has to count for something.

"The hardest thing to do is transition, keep the train moving. the kid delivered. Huge succesful album, sold out tour, and won people over...," Braun continued over several tweets. "...this time he deserved to be recognized and I dont really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision i dont agree with. So to all those nominated...you do deserve it. You worked hard and u earned it. Just feel like so did JB. To his fans...looks like we get to stay the underdog a little longer. #BRINGIT."

On a more positive note for Braun, his other artist, Carly Rae Jepsen of Call Me Maybe fame, was able to garner some recognition, which he was happy about.

Well, mostly.

"Congrats to @carlyraejepsen . thought u deserved a best new artist nom, but proud Call Me Maybe got u 2 noms. so proud of u."
