Shenae Grimes is engaged

Shenae Grimes is officially a bride-to-be.

"Yes...I am engaged," the 23-year-old 90210 star tweeted on Friday, with a link to her official website, which featured a photo of Grimes kissing new fiance, model Josh Beech, on the cheek as he flashed a peace sign. The two began dating nine months ago.

"Thanks for all the congratulations everyone, I'm a very happy lady indeed and all the warm wishes are well appreciated!" she wrote. "We plan to keep our special day very private and we hope everyone can respect that. Thanks for the love, right back atcha!"

Grimes next stars in Empire State, a drama opposite Liam Hemsworth.
