Katie Holmes will soon have a lot more free time on her hands.

Her Broadway show Dead Accounts will close on Jan. 6, about six weeks ahead of its original end date in late February.

The play will have run through 27 previews and 44 performances after beginning previews on Nov. 5 and officially opening on Nov. 29.

"I am extremely proud of this production and the cast," producer Jeffrey Finn said in a statement to BroadwayWorld.com. "Theresa Rebeck and Jack O'Brien have created an inspiring and hilarious new play and we are all sad to see Dead Accounts end on Broadway. I look forward to working with this remarkably talented cast and creative team again very soon."
