Jerry Seinfeld turns the big 6-0 today. And while he's keeping busy with his Web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and his standup, he's still probably best known for his groundbreaking sitcom.

So in honor of his birthday, here are six of the best words of wisdom from the show, one for every decade of Jerry.

1. On choices:

"Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason."

2. On transportation:

"Never be late for a plane with a girl. Cause a girl runs like a girl — with the little steps and the arms flailing out ... You wanna make this plane, you've gotta run like a man! Get your knees up!"

3. On fashion:

"You know the message you're sending out to the world with these sweatpants? You're telling the world, 'I give up. I can't compete in normal society. I'm miserable, so I might as well be comfortable.' "

4. On dating:

"People on dates shouldn't even be allowed out in public."

5. On nutrition:

"Women don't respect salad eaters."

6. On people:

"Yeah, they're the worst."

Happy birthday, Jerry. And you know, yada yada.
