Naya Rivera files for divorce from Ryan Dorsey, husband of two years

Two years after actress Naya Rivera's surprise wedding to actor Ryan Dorsey comes an unexpected split.

Rivera, 29, who's best know for starring in the musical series Glee, filed for divorce from Dorsey on Nov. 15, citing irreconcilable differences. She's also seeking sole custody of their son, 1-year-old Josey, reports The Associated Press. The Los Angeles Superior Court filing was first reported by TMZ. 

Rivera and Dorsey, 33, have broken up before. The two ended a relationship in 2010. That was right before Rivera decided to have an abortion, a decision she explained in an op-ed for USA TODAY and in her memoir, Sorry Not Sorry, released earlier this year.

Before rekindling her romance with Dorsey, Rivera was engaged to rapper Big Sean in 2013. Rivera and Dorsey were married in July 2014
