Kristin Chenoweth: Coming Home
PBS, Friday, 9 ET/PT, times may vary

The host of the PBS Arts Fall Festival brings the event to a close with her own special, as the Emmy- and Tony-winning star returns to her hometown of Broken Arrow, Okla., for this televised concert. She'll sing songs from her albums and from her biggest Broadway hit, Wicked.

One Christmas Eve
Hallmark Channel, Sunday, 8 ET/PT

Here's your choice: Watch the debut of this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie starring Anne Heche, or the fall finale of AMC's The Walking Dead. Odds are unless Heche is battling Christmas zombies, Dead wins.

The Mentalist
CBS, Sunday, 9:30 ET/9 PT

This long-running procedural kicks off its seventh and final season Sunday with an outing that finds Jane and Lisbon heading up the hunt for the murderer of an undercover agent. But don't focus on the case — the show certainly doesn't. What matters tonight is the budding romantic relationship between the two main characters (so charismatically played by Simon Baker and Robin Tunney), from their largely unsuccessful efforts to keep it a secret to the often amusing ways love affects their usual work routine. There's no question this is a series on its last legs: the diminished cast list alone should tell you that. But it also seems likely there's enough strength in those legs to carry the show to its conclusion.
