Jazz at the White House
ABC, Saturday, 8 ET/PT

Alan Cumming, Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth and Christine Baranski in the penultimate episode of the CBS series, "The Good Wife."

ABC celebrates International Jazz Day with this concert, scheduled to be taped at the White House Friday and hosted by President and Michelle Obama. Among those scheduled to perform are Dee Dee Bridgewater, Aretha Franklin, Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Diana Krall, Dianne Reeves and Sting.

American Country Countdown Awards
Fox, Sunday, 8 ET/PT

Well, here’s something we haven’t seen in forever: Country singers picking up prizes. This time, the awards are based on a radio countdown show, which would seem to eliminate any suspense — not that the suspense matters much. Viewers are more likely to tune in for the performances, which are scheduled to come from Brooks & Dunn, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith, who will headline a tribute to the late Merle Haggard.

The Good Wife
CBS, Sunday, 9 ET/PT

And here’s something, sad to say, that we won’t be seeing for much longer: The Good Wife, which airs its next-to-last episode.  This week, the focus is on Peter’s trial and Alicia’s efforts to keep her husband out of jail. (Just because she’s ready to divorce him doesn’t mean she wants to see the father of her children imprisoned.) While she fights a legal battle, Diane and Lucca fight a law-firm battle, as their effort to expand faces opposition from — who else? — David Lee.
