Another one bites the dust.

Last month, Coca-Cola Co. announced a major restructuring, including dropping about 200 of its brands. That's about half of its portfolio.

But the news of Tab and ZICO being discontinued overshadowed the fact that the company refused to answer which drinks would be eliminated.

Now, another brand of those 200 was revealed. Coca-Cola is discontinuing the regional Virginia drink Northern Neck Ginger Ale by the end of the year.

Coca-Cola produces Northern Neck Ginger Ale at Coca-Cola Consolidated in Sandston, Virginia, Business Insider reported.

The outlet also reported Brian Nick, vice president of communications, said some products were "suspended" due to interruptions in production caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

A petition on Change.org to "save" the drink has already amassed over 11,000 online signatures.

"NNKGA is a staple in our community, and has been missed dearly since the shortage of aluminum caused its production to halt," the petition reads. "Hopefully, we can get enough signatures to show Coca cola how much it means to keep it on our shelves."

USA TODAY reached out to Coca-Cola Co. for comment.

CEO James Quincey said that half of Coca-Cola's portfolio generated only 2% of revenue.

Coca-Cola is in cost-cutting mode. In August, the company said it plans to offer buyouts to roughly 4,000 employees, or 37% of its workforce in North America, as part of a larger effort to make the organization more nimble.
