While we haven’t tested the Cyclone V10 Allergy ourselves yet, we have tested the ultra-similar Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute ($549.99)—in fact, it’s one of our favorite cordless vacuums. The Absolute picked up an astonishing 89% of the dirt in our tests, and the battery life was unmatched, giving us 60 minutes of cleaning time on the lowest setting and 9 minutes at full throttle for intense jobs. 

According to Jon Chan, senior manager of lab operations at Reviewed, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Allergy has the same motor and battery as the Absolute—the difference is the attachments. Where the Absolute comes with a soft roller brush head, a torque drive head and a motorized mini brush, the Allergy comes with a mattress cleaning tool and a direct drive head.
