Daylight saving time 2021 ends this weekend on Sunday, November 7, meaning that the clocks will "fall back" an hour. Many people have a love-hate relationship with the time change—you love that you get an extra hour of sleep but you hate the week-long slump that occurs thanks to setting the clocks back and the fact that it will now get dark at 5 p.m.

Fortunately, there are ways—more specifically, products—to help us all cope with the seasonal time change. These 10 things will either help you sleep or help you wake the heck up so you can at least be a semi-functioning adult after daylight saving time.

1. The coziest weighted blanket for more quality shut-eye

Snuggle up with the Gravity Blanket.

You're getting an extra hour of sleep, so you might as well take advantage of it. To help you snooze better, snag a weighted blanket, which people claim helps them both fall asleep faster and stay asleep for longer. Our favorite is the Gravity Blanket. Its velvety cover is super-soft to the touch and machine-washable, and the blanket itself provides just the right amount of comforting pressure—not too light, not too heavy.

2. This alarm clock to make waking up easier

A soothing Philips wake-up light beats your iPhone alarm any day.

Waking up is hard to do—and it's even harder when your body has no idea what time it is anymore. While you can get one of those jarring, ear-splitting alarms, more than 8,000 people prefer this genius wake-up light. According to its glowing reviews (pun intended), it mimics the natural sunrise to wake you up gently and has adjustable brightness and sound options so you can customize your alarm.

3. Our favorite coffee maker

The Nespresso VertuoPlus makes coffee that rivals your favorite Starbucks drink.

An extra hour means you have more time in the morning to get your caffeine fix at home—and you need it when you wake up still feeling drowsy. Here at Reviewed, we love the Nespresso VertuoPlus (it's our number one single-serve coffee maker) because it's super-speedy and brews a deliciously foamy cup of coffee. Bonus: It has a milk frother for when you want to get fancy.

Get the Breville Nespresso VertuoPlus from Amazon for $144.99

4. This mug, so you're never without your brew

The 16-ounce mug comes in 8 different colors.

Chances are one cup of coffee (or tea) just isn't going to cut it now that it feels like it's always dark outside. For taking your cuppa on the go, our experts recommend this stainless steel mug from Zojirushi. It's the best travel mug we've ever used because it kept our coffee piping hot for up to 24 hours (yes, really!) and its slim, lightweight design is perfect for tossing in your bag on the way out the door.

5. This sound machine with more than 5,000 reviews

Choose from sounds like rain, meadow or waterfalls.

If there's ever a time when naps are necessary, it's the day after the clocks change. But between pinging phone notifications and the neighbors making noise next door, napping during the day can be tough (don't people know you're trying to sleep?!). Enter the Adaptive Sound white noise machine, which not only has thousands of five-star reviews on Amazon but is also our experts' number one sound machine. It was easily the loudest of all the machines we tested (i.e., it will drown out any sound) and even has an "adaptive" mode that monitors the noise level in your room and adjusts the volume accordingly.

6. These blue-light blocking glasses for your circadian rhythm

Keep your eyes happy and healthy.

Blue-light blocking glasses are having a moment. Research says they may help you get better sleep, as exposure to blue light—which is emitted from the sun but also all the screens we stare at—disrupts your circadian rhythm.

Reviewed's shopping editor wears this popular (and affordable) pair from Amazon every day when sitting at her computer. While the scientific jury is out as to whether blue light from screens contributes to eye strain, anecdotally, her eyes feel less fatigued at the end of the day and she has fewer headaches.

Get the Gamma Ray Blue Light Blocking Glasses from Amazon for $15.99

7. This travel pillow, so you can nap on your commute

The Cabeau Neck Pillow offers the perfect amount of support in the areas you need it.

Your morning commute for at least a week following the time change is likely to be a little bit rougher—and a whole lot sleepier—than normal. So a travel pillow like this one will definitely come in handy. It's our experts' favorite because it's durable and compact and provides enough neck support that you won't wake up with kinks or aches.

Get the Cabeau Evolution Classic Travel Pillow from Amazon for $29.99

8. This sleep mask to block out the sun

Keep the light out with the Nidra Deep Rest Eye Mask.

An earlier sunrise might be great for all your favorite outdoor activities but not so great for trying to sleep. If you're someone who needs complete darkness to fall asleep, you might want to snag this sleep mask, which our experts deemed the best one you can buy. In fact, our Reviewed tester says it's "like having personal blackout curtains for your eyes" and loves that the contoured foam is comfortable and breathable.

9. This energizing body wash

Lather, rinse, repeat.

If a morning shower is part of your wake-up routine, super-charge it with this "turbo" body wash from Jack Black. Made with invigorating ingredients juniper, rosemary and eucalyptus, it has more than 3,000 positive reviews on Amazon. People say that not only does it cleanse and moisturize their skin, but it leaves them feeling more awake and revitalized when they step out of the shower. One reviewer even wrote, "It gives me that kick I need in the morning to get up."

10. This face roller for making you look less tired

Put your best (and most awake) face forward with a roller.

Even with more snooze time, the time change probably has you feeling and looking a lot sleepier. Fake it 'til you make it—when it comes to looking awake, that is—with this top-rated Skin Gym face roller. One of our editors swears by it, saying she puts it in the freezer before using it and that it visibly reduces puffiness after a long night.
