As newly elected school board members take their seats next month, parents-rights advocates see themselves having a greater voice and on equal footing with teachers.
Parents wanted to make their voices heard in this election, said Tiffany Justice, former Indian River County School Board member and co-founder of the national parents-rights advocacy group Moms for Liberty.
