Serina Marcum-Holt knowing that it could be another possible COVID-19 infection — the umpteenth one since the start of the school year — springs into action. The pressure on school nurses like Marcum-Holt ramped up just as the school year started, resulting in burn out and frustrations that have prompted many to quit already.
