Kirk Douglas' obit published by mistake on 'People' website

"People" magazine published Kirk Douglas' obit by mistake. He is not dead.

Veteran actor Kirk Douglas is not dead, contrary to what an obituary that appeared on People magazine's website might have you believe.

Twitter lit up Sunday when a pre-written obituary for the actor with the headline "DO NOT PUB Kirk Douglas Dies" was found on the site. The post is dated Sept. 29, 2014, but it's unclear when it was originally published.

People has since removed the obituary from the website, but you can still read all about it on Twitter.
