The LEED green-building certification system lets designers choose from roughly 50 options aimed at minimizing harm to the environment and to occupant health.
USA TODAY staff writers Christopher Schnaars and Thomas Frank analyzed records of 7,100 LEED-certified buildings and calculated the most- and least-popular options.
