Three adults, one child found dead in Texas home

WFAA-TV, Dallas-Fort Worth

CROWLEY, Texas — Four people were found dead in a residence on the 200 block of Kennedy Drive in Crowley Sunday evening, according to police.

Crowley Chief of Police Luis Soler said in a press conference that the victims were two adult women, an adult man and a young girl.

A 9-year-old inside the home contacted a relative, and that relative contacted police, Soler said. The 9-year-old is in protective custody and is being interviewed by forensic investigators.

Police originally responded to a suicide call shortly after 4 p.m. CT. The only information obtained from the 911 log was that an adult man "was injured after allegedly attempting suicide," Soler said.

The four bodies were found upon arrival, according to the original release from Crowley police. The family member who contacted police was not at the residence when police arrived, according to a report in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Soler said there was no sign of forced entry into the home when police arrived. Crowley, a town of about 12,000 people, is south of Fort Worth and straddles the Tarrant-Johnson county line.

The investigation is ongoing.
