DETROIT — An 86-year-old Detroit man, whose family said he recently won $20,000 in a lottery game, is missing, police said.

Arthur Neal Jr. was last seen on Dec. 20 at his home in the 17200 block of Trinity, police said.

Detroit police spokesman Officer Adam Madera said Neal's family said he had won the lottery a day earlier. Madera said police have not been able to confirm whether Neal collected any winnings.

Police said that, according to Neal's family, he has never gone this long without communication.

Neal's 1998 Cadillac, with a Michigan license plate of BMZ7786, is also missing, Madera said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (313) 596-5640.
