Utah's GOP caucus suffers technical difficulties, delaying primary results
As votes from Super Tuesday's primaries and caucuses are rolling in from across the country, Utah's Republican caucus results are held up amid chaos at the precincts across the state.
The Utah Republican party was scheduled to release results from neighborhood caucus meetings shortly after 9 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, but technical difficulties with caucus registration have caused a delay.
Caucus goers were told to pre-register online ahead of time. However, poor internet connection and a lagging website still left many in long lines at caucus locations, leading some voters to give up and go, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
