Perks and Rec: The best Global Running Day deals

Fancy a jog? If you’re hitting the road, trail or sidewalk soon, gear up with well-vetted essentials, many of which are on sale for Global Running Day. 

At Garmin, lots of running watches and trackers are on sale, including the best running watch we’ve tried. Our tester wrote that the Garmin Forerunner 255 has easily digestible data you can use before, during and after your run. It’s also comfortable to wear and can be used to track other types of workouts, too. Today, it’s $100 off.  

We also found tons of running shoes for less at REI, including top picks from brands like Hoka, Brooks and Altra. To pair with your new shoes, you’ll need some solid socks (we’re talking no slipping or blisters), plus, a pair of earbuds to blast your running playlist.
