It's Week 3 and there are a lot of intriguing matchups this weekend. Before we dig deeper, enjoy these:
- Which teams will emerge victorious in Week 3? Our experts make their picks.
- Are 2-0 teams contenders or pretenders? Is there still hope for any 0-2 teams?
- Is Drew Brees still an elite QB? The Packers sure think so.
- As always, we're here to help you set that fantasy football lineup.
About last night: Dolphins 31, Jaguars 13 -- Tua Time is going to have to wait, because FitzMagic is still a thing, football fans. Ryan Fitzpatrick accounted for three touchdowns (two via the forward pass and one rushing) as Miami ended its recent run of "Thursday Night Football" misery.
Game of the Week: Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens -- The reigning Super Bowl champions play the team that posted the best regular-season record in 2019 in what could be an AFC title game preview. It's also a showdown of the previous two league MVPs, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. Clear your Monday night calendar for this game, it should be fun.
Sneaky-Good Game of the Week: Los Angeles Rams at Buffalo Bills -- Cowboys at Seahawks, Packers at Saints and Chiefs at Ravens will get much of the attention -- and rightfully so -- but this showdown of 2-0 teams might be a barometer of which team is legit and which team might need to slow down its hype train.
Survivor Pool Game of the Week: New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts -- We're on a "whoever is playing the Jets" run. But, for good reason. The Jets are banged up and there are grumblings of sluggish practices. Not great. This seems like an ideal time for the Colts to continue to build momentum following a stunning Week 1 loss. Full disclosure: The previous picks have been been the Steelers (Week 1 ✅) and 49ers (Week 2 ✅).
