If you've been following the NFL for at least the last 20 years, then Super Sunday will have a familiar feel to it as Tom Brady will be appearing in his 10th Super Bowl.
Though, this will be Brady's first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who -- in case you haven't already heard -- will be the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
With his 10th championship appearance, Brady matches LeBron James for most such appearances among active U.S. major sports athletes. How does four more Super Bowl appearances for Brady sound? That's what he'd need to match Yogi Berra's 14 World Series appearances.
On the opposite sideline from the 43-year-old Brady is the 25-year-old Patrick Mahomes, the likely heir apparent to Brady's QB throne. Or perhaps, Mahomes is already bigger than the NFL -- with much more to come. The young gunslinger and the Chiefs are looking to become the NFL's first repeat champion since Brady's Patriots pulled off that feat in the 2003-04 seasons.
