We're 10 days away from the 2021 NFL draft, and it's officially draft subterfuge season.
Late-stage smokescreens are billowing, with the latest being a report that Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones is "infatuated" with Florida TE Kyle Pitts.
USA TODAY Sports' Nate Davis humors Cowboys fans and gives that report credence, baking that selection into his latest mock draft.
It won't be easy for the Cowboys to land Pitts, however. It would require an expensive move up the first-round pecking order to select the dynamic playmaker. That is one of two projected trades in our latest first-round mock.
