The Chicago Bears traded the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, and it was the Carolina Panthers who made the massive leap forward, giving up a bevy of picks and Pro Bowl-caliber receiver DJ Moore in order to have their choice among this year's quarterback crop. USA TODAY Sports' Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz updated his mock draft to project who the Panthers might be eyeing with that top selection. Who do you think might go No. 1?

At noon ET on Monday, NFL players with expiring contracts can begin negotiating new deals with other teams ahead of the official opening of the free agent market, which occurs at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
