Coronavirus Watch: Pfizer seeks authorization on omicron booster for children
COVID-19 boosters that target omicron variants may soon be on their way for kids.
On Monday, Pfizer-BioNTech submitted an application for emergency use authorization of their omicron-targeting vaccine for children 5 to 11 years old, according to the companies.
The booster is already authorized by the FDA for anyone 12 years old and older at least two months after any previous COVID-19 shots.
