American Sunscapes: Sodus Point, N.Y.

"There are few things more romantic than a summer sunset," writes Mikell Herrick, the photographer. " Couples stand on the lighthouse pier at Sodus Point, N.Y., in awe of a late August sun, as it sets in a hazy pink light, over Lake Ontario."
