More arrests to come in Philadelphia wedding brawl

More arrests are expected in a Philadelphia wedding brawl that led to one death and involved 100 people in two wedding parties, Philadelphia police tell The Inquirer.

Three people have been arrested after the melee early Sunday morning that left the uncle of the bride dead of a heart attack and prompted police to swing nightsticks and Taser one of the brawlers, the Inquirer reports.

Police Lt. Ray Evers told the news organization that it was unclear how the fight began.

"They all got involved," he said. "You really can't tell who's on what side when they're all in suits. It's not like they're wearing opposite uniforms."

Officers from "a lot of surrounding districts" were required to respond, and the department expects to make more arrests, Evers told The Inquirer.

"We're interviewing police officers, witnesses, hotel staff," Evers said, and "looking at video."

Of those arrested, two people were issued disorderly conduct citations in the incident, and a third person, Matthew Sofka, 26, of Westfield, N.J., was described by authorities as the main combatant and had to be Tasered by police, authorities told The Inquirer.

Vincent Sannuti, 57, died after collapsing in the hotel parking lot, according to the news organization.
