Romney's blind trust sells Yankees stock

Attention Red Sox Nation: Mitt Romney was once an investor in the cable television channel that broadcasts Yankees games.

BuzzFeed's Andrew Kaczynski unearthed a page from Romney's blind trust that shows a financial stake in Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network LLC was sold this year.

Romney has had all of his holdings in a blind trust since he his days as Massachusetts governor, and the YES purchase occurred in 2007. Romney frequently notes the blind trust's investments are all managed by a trustee.

Romney unabashedly roots for the Red Sox -- the Yankees' arch enemy -- and took the winner of a contest to Fenway Park on Opening Day earlier this year.
