'Bronco Bamma' and Romney make little girl cry

Just how tortuous is this year's presidential campaign? Well, President Obama and Mitt Romney apparently have made a 4-year-old girl cry.

Elizabeth Evans told KUSA, a Denver TV station, that she and her daughter, Abigael, were listening to NPR when the child starting crying.

"I'm tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney," Abigael told her mom.

Mark Memmott at NPR made amends to the little girl in his Two-Way blog. "On behalf of NPR and all other news outlets, we apologize to Abigael and all the many others who probably feel like her," Memmott writes. "We must confess, the campaign's gone on long enough for us, too."
