- It's not only Columbus Day, it's also National Fluffernutter Day!
- Magician David Blaine's latest stunt — being jolted with a million volts of electricity at Manhattan's Pier 54 — ends tonight. But it probably isn't as dangerous as you might think.

- For the month of October, Neato Coolville has changed its name to Neato Ghoulville, with a bunch of Halloween-related posts.
- On Nov. 13, Image Entertainment will release a Blu-ray Dick Van Dyke Showcomplete series set, and it will include extras not found on the previous set.
- This is sad: because of the web, Hallmark Cards is closing one of it's main plants and cutting 300 jobs.
- The next Rifftrax live event will be...Birdemic! Here's a list of participating theaters (and here's the trailer - it looks appropriately ghastly).
