Your binders are full of pop culture news this morning:
-- Yes, please: Beyoncé will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, The Washington Post reports.
-- Hilary Mantel cemented her status as a literary superstar by winning the Booker Prize for her novel about Anne Boleyn, Bring Up the Bodies, The Awl tells us.
-- I like reading the TV critics' reviews of the presidential debates the day after, since at least a large portion of their point these days is to make good (and Tweet-able) TV. Here's Alessandra Stanley in the New York Times; here's my friend Ken Tucker at Entertainment Weekly. And speaking of Tweetable, here's an array of Hollywood reactions in real time.
- The AV Club's Sopranos in Ten Episodes.
- A Greek public broadcaster courted outrage by cutting a gay kiss from an airing of a season 1 episode of Downton Abbey, per Deadline. (Is anyone else more fascinated by the fact that they have a Golden Dawn party?)
