Early Buzz: It's Election Day Eve

Jon Chattman, guest blogger for Pop Candy
Tuesday is the big day for Romney and Obama!

Who's having a case of the Mondays? Everybody. That's who. Sorry for that Office Space notable quotable but we have an insanely busy week people. So let's do it to it …

Election Day is tomorrow and, according to some, Ohio is the decisive state for Obama and Romney. No word if either candidate is cuddling up to Drew Carey today.

NBC's telethon Friday night raised a lot of money toward the rehabilitation effort. On a related note, it raised speculation whether or not Billy Joel will ever get off his piano seat and record again. I'm thinking We Didn't Start the Fire 2.0. Mitt Romney. Barack Obama. Election Day. What else do I have to say?

Speaking of telethons, MTV's Jersey Shore cast is prepping for a hurricane special of their own. People are encouraged to donate funds to keep the cast off TV, yes?

Louis C.K. hosted SNL this weekend, and for me, he honestly killed it. Sure, the show was uneven (as it always is) but his opening monologue was hilarious as was this don't-call-it-a-Digital-Short short in which he played Honest Abe.

Q-Bert vs. Alonzo Harris. Who won? Hands down — the vintage video game character laid the smackdown against Denzel Washington (not literally – Q-Bert is, after all, animated and is limited when it comes to limbs). Denzel Washington's Flight still placed second and made a boatload of money. Perhaps if it was more kid-friendly, and you know, didn't feature, arguably, the most realistic, excruciating plane crash scene ever, it might've overtaken Wreck-It Ralphat the box office.

If you loved The Hangover but felt it needed a Grumpy Old Men vibe… I have just the film for you.

Attention Zoltar fans: I don't know when this was posted but it's all kinds of awesome.

Sharon Osbourne went public with the news that she had a double mastectomy.

Excuse me, Mister. A lot of people were heated with No Doubt's Looking Hot video — so much so the band apologized and pulled it.

The advance buzz on the latest James Bond flick Skyfall is through the roof. That 007 flick has a theme song from Adele. This one did not.

Play it again, Sam? Let's hope not.

Overall, I feel pretty good about humanity after the aftermath of the Hurricane. Rising star and rocking blues artist Gary Clark Jr. is just one performer putting on a benefit on behalf of the victims in BK. There are tons of these benefits taking place so please list any below in the comments section.

Those Savages! The Disney Channel is planning a spin-off series of that TGIF ABC "classic" Boy Meets World. Yes, you read that right. Honestly, I'd prefer a Wonder Years reboot on Spike TV.

Finally, that sequel to Kill Bill we've all been waiting for!

The California band Blondfire's Where The Kids Are is a super cool track that's been getting a ton of mileage on Sirius AltNation and other alt-rock stations. The band's four-song EP drops tomorrow. In the meantime, Geographer, an indie band out of San Francisco, just remixed the Kids track. Want it? Get it exclusively here.
