Anastasiya Afinskaya’s story of resilience served as a foundation for the work she does today, helping thousands of people—mostly women and their children—transform their lives and ensure their kids have a safe and healthy childhood. The driving force behind her mission to help others find true freedom—and that healing lies in her own tumultuous childhood. Her group courses attract diverse participants, ranging from successful entrepreneurs hungry for deeper fulfillment to individuals seeking solace amidst life’s complexities. Anastasiya’s magnetic presence and emphasis on authentic connection create an environment where walls come down and souls find resonance.

Afinskaya left home when she was just 12 years old, and some may be shocked to hear this, but this was due to abuse.

“I also understood the world differently, even at such a young age. I could not understand why people lie and pretend instead of going after what they truly want and fulfilling their dreams. I could not understand why people couldn’t let themselves live freely.”

She recalls spending nights at the train station and even spending some nights in jail. Nevertheless, she always knew she would find her way out of any situation. Anastasiya has always read a lot, giving her an escape, an alternate reality during tough times. But even then, she couldn’t understand why people lived the way they did. Growing up, she realized she could help people with similar experiences of family trauma and, most importantly, help their kids avoid the same experiences. “Of course, a person has to be willing to work through their trauma. Transformation does not happen without effort,” says Anastasiya.

It was from these raw life experiences that the idea for her group courses took root. Drawing from her own struggles and insights she made along the way, Anastasiya recognized a common thread weaving through the fabric of humanity: the need for healing, human connection, and transformation. Here, she had the idea to create a sanctuary where individuals could confront their past traumas, reclaim their power, and mark their path toward wholeness and fulfillment.

Anastasiya’s courses see people from all walks of life, even successful people who have built their businesses from the ground up.

“When you already have everything, you end up wanting more and more

until boredom eventually sets in, and this is when people get the

desire to dig deeper. Success and money are great, but then what? This

is especially the case with men who have built successful businesses

but feel something is missing; this is the point when they join my

coaching sessions. I’ve worked with men for the past three years and

started holding group coaching in Peru, which is truly life-changing. As

for myself, I realized that no matter how much a person has

materialistically, I always look deeper at the kind of energy they

carry. This is something that either makes me want to connect with

them or run away.”

She noticed that this idea resonated with many people and that people are more likely to be open and share with others when they feel that nobody wants or expects anything from them in return.

“When people are full of energy and interact with life, they are the kind of people you bloom around. To get to this point, you have to work on closing off any gaps you have in life, especially those you feel and know you need to work on. These gaps, whether it is a lack of personal relationships or lack of money, are where your energy seeps through because that is where your worries lie. Of course, your life depends on your experiences and interactions with life.”

Central to her mission is the empowerment of women and the protection of future generations from the cycle of abuse and trauma. With a staggering statistic that Anastasiya has seen from her own clients, a 2017 study revealed that nearly 70 percent of the 2,200 women surveyed from across Russia experienced gender-based violence in the home. Through her meticulously crafted programs, she equips women with the tools to transcend their pasts, step into their power, and regain self-respect.

“You have to trust yourself and stop looking for answers outside of yourself. It is only our beliefs that we cannot do something on our own, but there comes a time when you have to almost recreate respect for yourself, no matter where you are in life currently and what you have. Your status does not matter. That is not where innate self-respect comes from,” says Anastasiya.

Her program’s reach spans cities like Berlin, Monaco, and Los Angeles. She leaves a mark on the hearts and minds of her clients, with many being able to find fulfillment and achieve their goals going forward.

In her relentless pursuit of holistic healing, Anastasiya has embraced a new medium: music. Inspired by the transformative power of sound, she was inspired to create melodies that serve as conduits for healing and self-discovery.

Thanks to my son, I got involved in music. I went with him to a few concerts and realized that people are much more receptive to information when they are at concerts. Languages and countries divide people, but music is universal; it is all about energy and connection.”

Anastasiya said she plans not only to make meditation music but also to work on electronic music.

“I want people to feel that they can be themselves, to highlight their strengths, and I think as a DJ, I will have that platform to use music as a kind of therapy.”

Anastasiya expects to start putting out her first album in about two months and has already picked her DJ name, Mysteria, symbolizing mystery.

At the heart of Anastasiya’s mission lies a simple yet profound truth: the power to transform resides within everyone. Through her courses, she invites people to reclaim their sovereignty, rewrite their narratives, and embrace the limitless possibilities that lie on the other side of healing.

I always wanted to be free and for freedom to be a big part of my brand as well. I already found different levels of freedom for myself and want everyone to have that ability as well. But my mission, largely, is to help women and their kids. I created a program with courses online and in-person, teaching you how to work through past traumas and become truly wholesome. People want to get rich and find a partner, but that is only the tip of the iceberg.”

Anastasiya is also working on a jewelry line that will include pendants, almost like artifacts, or keys that will be used to join her group. This is a work in progress for an even bigger idea of her upcoming events.

“I want to create quests where people can learn about themselves through questions. The quests are almost like a secret right of passage that everyone will go through and have their own individual experience. I truly believe that everything you need is inside you. You’ll build and create, and only then you’ll have the resources to share with others. After all, we’re all nomads here on earth.”

Anastasiya’s mission is to provide people with the opportunity to transform through sound with her music. She also realizes that she made the mistake of only holding groups for women and not including men.

“When I started speaking to men, I realized a lot of them have also been through trauma, some traumas caused by women. It’s almost like that saying, ‘Hurt people hurt people,’ so it’s a never-ending circle of war between women and men. So working more with men is also on my list of upcoming plans.”

Whether you’re a woman or man, and whether you believe you’ve experienced traumatic events in life, Anastasiya Afinskaya wants to remind you that true freedom lies not in escaping your past but in embracing it as a catalyst for growth.
