The fifth week of the NFL season has come to a finish and what a wild week it was. Perhaps the most entertaining game was the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Both teams went in with identical 3-1 records, although it was the Packers who squeaked out a victory in overtime thanks to the right leg of former Buff Mason Crosby.

This game had everything: drama, highlight plays, and even a Chidobe Awuzie interception off Aaron Rodgers. But, the final score boiled down to the kicking game as Crosby and Bengals kicker Evan McPherson combined for five straight missed field goals down the stretch.

It was a rare outing for Crosby, who has been one of the most automatic kickers in the NFL throughout his career. Crosby missed this kick at the start of overtime and gave the ball back to the Bengals.

McPherson went on to miss a 49-yard attempt in overtime, and all of this was after Crosby missed TWO field goals with less than three minutes left in the fourth quarter, including a 51-yard attempt to close out regulation.

Nonetheless, Crosby shook off all those misses and nailed the game-winner in one of the wildest finishes in a long time in the NFL.

Pure chaos in Cincinnati, but the Packers somehow escaped with the victory in a game that had everything you could ask for.

Crosby finished with a wild line of 4-for-7 on field goals and 1-for-2 on extra points in a performance he would love to forget, even with the game-winner finally going through the uprights.
