A personal trainer who once was on the Arizona State football roster was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman last month, town of Paradise Valley police said.

Tevin Favor was arrested and booked into Maricopa County Jail facing charges of sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment, police said. The alleged assault occurred April 21 in the 5000 Block of North Palo Cristi Road, according to a Paradise Valley police press release.

According to a court document, Favor invited the woman accusing him of sexual assault to a party at a home he said belonged to three-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. of the Miami Dolphins. The 20-year-old woman told detectives that Favor told her to lie about her age to the people who were there.

According to the report, the woman told police she had been drinking but fending off Favor's advances, but later found herself waking up in one of the bedrooms with Favor on top of her having sexual intercourse, according to the court document.

The woman's friend, who she attended the party with, found the two after the attack, the document said. The woman told police Favor would not let her leave at that point, per the court document. She was able to sneak past Favor and pulled the woman out of the room before getting an Uber ride home.

Favor is a personal trainer and gym owner. According to the police, three days after the party happened, Favor messaged every one of his clients, except for the alleged assault victim, that the gym was closing. In addition, he deleted his social media presence.

Favor was on ASU football's 2012 preseason roster as a walk-on but never played.

Favor was arrested last Wednesday. His bond was set at $150,000. Favor, 32, was accused of sexual assault in September of 2018 in Scottsdale. In 2020, a jury acquitted him. Court documents cite several other incidents in which Favor had been accused of sexual assaults by women, but the cases were not prosecuted.
