Oklahoma State baseball ranked 5th in poll

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State baseball team is ranked fifth in the nation in the Collegiate Baseball Fabulous 40 NCAA Division I Preseason Poll.

The Cowboys have five position players and 12 pitchers returning from last season's team that went 48-18 and won the Big 12 Conference, then advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.

Defending national champion Vanderbilt is ranked No. 1 in the poll, followed by TCU, Virginia, LSU and OSU

OSU opens the 2015 season Feb. 13 at Arizona State.
