How new Lady Vols coach Kim Caldwell approached hiring staff and balancing strengths

When Kim Caldwell embarked on the biggest coaching job of her career, she wanted balance on her staff.

The new Lady Vols basketball coach's biggest priority was hiring a good mix of individuals.

"It's obviously a big jump, so I needed people with strong SEC experience," Caldwell told Knox News. "But I also needed people that have been with me and know how I like to operate and know what the standard is, and I don't have to explain myself to them every single day."
