Months ago, Luke Walton was an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, and the Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals after blowing a 3-1 lead. Now, Walton is the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, but he still remembers the painful Finals loss (or he at least still likes to joke about it).

ESPN's Baxter Holmes shared a hilarious comment Walton made after the Lakers beat the Hawks on Wednesday night, while Game 7 of the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs was happening.

The Indians were pushed to Game 7 after building up a 3-1 series lead. When Walton checked the score, they were losing in Game 7, so he asked, "How's that feel, Cleveland?"

I wouldn't be surprised if more members of that Warriors team are rooting for the Cubs, because if Cleveland blows a 3-1 lead, then maybe - just maybe - the endless 3-1 lead jokes will die down.

Update: The Indians lost, and Draymond Green was one of the first to make a "3-1 lead" joke.
