J.R. Smith took off his shirt to rally the Indians

J.R. Smith should never wear a shirt, especially in times of great stress.

As Game 7 of the World Series went to the bottom of the seventh inning, the Progressive Field videoboard showed the Cavaliers in their suite watching the game.

Then, something remarkable happened.

Smith to the rescue.

Of course, after the Cavaliers won the NBA title, J.R. Smith went what seemed like several straight days without putting on a shirt. He was shirtless for the Las Vegas party. He was shirtless for the parade. There are even shirts made of Smith's bare torso.

If the Indians were going to come back, they needed a shirtless J.R. Smith to lead the rally.

But the Cubs had a nice comeback for Smith after the Indians' seventh went scoreless.
