Carmelo Anthony shared a cryptic Instagram post on Thursday that could be interpreted as some sort of jab at the Knicks or society or something along those lines. In the photo, he's alone, hugging a basketball, and the words, that are from Jeezy's 2015 song Just Win, read as follows:

It's necessary to know that everybody won't see it that everybody won't join you‹That everybody won't have the vision‹It's necessary to know that a lot of people want to complain. But they don't want to do anything about there situation‹That you're an uncommon breed you know.‹You have to know within yourself that I can do this even if no one else sees it for me I can see it for myself, that's necessary.

However, on Friday when reporters asked Anthony about the Instagram, he said there's nothing to worry about. Per Marc Berman of The New York Post:

"His album just came out,'' Anthony said at United Center during the Friday morning shootaround before the club faced the Bulls. "Please don't overthink it. It's too early for that. I love the game. Please don't dissect that.''

"I just felt those lyrics goes with that picture,'' Anthony said. "Don't dissect, please don't. It's nothing more to it than me posting it. If I posted it today with a smiling face, you wouldn't say anything.''

Jeezy's new album released last week. So there you have it. If that Instagram made you concerned at all, you can relax. Anthony says it has nothing to do with the Knicks going 1-3 to start the season. He just wanted to share a moody photo and lyrics to match, like we all do sometimes.
