J.R. Smith helped Moondog take off his jersey.

J.R. Smith returned to Cleveland with no shirt after the Cavaliers won the title last season, and it be came a huge thing. There were shirts made, Smith took off his shirt at the World Series in an attempt to rally the Indians, and now the Cavs mascot, Moondog, has been taking off his jersey when Smith is announced at The Q.

On Tuesday night, Moondog had some trouble removing his jersey, but it was fine because Smith didn't hesitate to give him a hand, along with a hug.

Real friends.

Here's a video from another game in which Moondog slips off his shirt for Smith, then quickly pulls it back on to high five Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love.

I wonder if Moondog practiced this, and if so, how many times. I'm just imagining the mascot standing near the locker rooms taking his shirt off and putting it back on to ensure the intros go off without a hitch.
