Dak Prescott comments on throwing away trash

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) leaves the field after the game against the Baltimore Ravens at AT & T Stadium. Dallas won 27-17.

A video of Dak Prescott throwing away his water cup on Sunday has gone viral.

People are amazed that Prescott picked up the cup after missing the garbage can on his first try. He easily could have left it there. Plenty of cups litter the field after games, and he didn't know anyone was watching him. But he did the right thing.

Now, we have the official comment from the Cowboys quarterback on what he thinks about this simple moment that fans have loved so much.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and team owner Jerry Jones have also commented on the viral video.

Garrett told reporters that it shows Prescott is a neat freak, then added, "I would say that's a positive story about Dak, yes."

Per the Dallas News, Jones said:

"I'm proud of him for doing that," Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show [KRLD-FM]. "I'll bet you one thing, that mobile home he grew up in, it might have been modest, but I'll bet it was clean."

There you have it. Remember to always pick up your trash because Prescott says so, and because it's the right thing to do - even if no one's watching.
